The spiritual and moral self evaluation required for true liberation will send most running in search of the next distraction, or the creation of alternative realities to compartmentalize the pain.
The Tree of Liberty can only live in the Land of Truth, and the lies so many have woven into their twisted realities are so ugly, few have the courage to face them. So America withers, dries and dies in the desert of deceptions and lies.
While the truth will exists regardless, it serves of little value to the masses who refuse to see it. I fear most so invested in self deception they will take those delusions to the grave.
The replacement of one despotic master for a benevolent master, still binds you to servitude. The measure of a content slave is a far cry from freedom.
The Spiritual, Intellectual, and Social Awakening is for but a few, so the culling continues, the price of this evolution is heavy. If salvation await us on the other side, it comes with guilt, regret and remorse for those it has claimed.
While your truths are self-evident, it does little to make them less depressing.
Is there anyway I can send you happy pills? :-)
I find validity in all that you say.
The guilt, regret and remorse I was referring to is what lies on the other side of the culling, not the spiritual regime of what await us on the other side of "this physical world".
And it is a sorrow for the lost, pain and suffering they have endured in the darkness of their decisions not to see what is so obvious to us (I put myself in good company lol), regardless of the woe they have caused, intentionally and or unintentionally.
Life is such a rare and precious gift to be squander in a stupor. I find magic and amazement, wonderment and awe in the smallest of it.
These gifts of grace they may never know while here, and may not be capable of experiencing or processing on the other side.
This gives birth to the question, coupled with your thoughts of a painless presents in the spiritual state, so far removed form the physical state of being is, is the fragrance of the flowers the same in this world as the next? If in the singularity we lose the sensations of pain, discomfort and sorrow, (as you think) don't we also lose the lessons of joy, contentment and empathy?
I've often wondered if the physical embodiment of the spiritual self is nothing more than the desire for the lessons of vulnerability, empathy, compassion and passion, as in the spiritual state we need nothing, we feel nothing, we fear nothing.
Are these the things we want, and if so to what end?
If Objectivity is all we are capable of knowing as pure energy of spirit, Is not Subjectivity the lessions of the living vulnerable flesh?
And merging the two, the Divine Grail of life force being?
There is an irony if but a smidgen of truth exist in that, we search for what is only available on the other side.:+)
I hope our paths cross one day, I would like very much to look into your eyes. :-)
