I think that the ‘National’ adjective is there to oppose ‘Global’. I don’t think they’re both at the same time. They hate the United States and want to merge it into a global structure. Furthermore, their platform simply doesn’t align with National Socialism as defined in Mein Kampf, which I have read in entirety, or the pamphlet with the stated 50 or so tenets of the party. I don’t think they align in any way with the term and their only similarity is authoritarian tendencies. Hating Republics isn’t a particularly good reason.
I know we do love to just throw the term around. Yet just looking at the data points, they seem much closer in alignment. I just see it as reshape in our national image, bleed the nation out so the global power structures that have actual Nazi roots can take over.
History never fully repeats as is. It didn't work before so the effort had to be modified.
After all these are just terms that attempt to refer to concretes in reality. And we’re both saying accurate things about such concretes.
The only concrete we need is for shoes.
