I'm born a catholic and raised through catholic school, though I only went to church when I had to as a student and later on in years for weddings and funerals. In fact, I despise the catholic church more and more as time passes (we all know why). But there is something about what is going on that makes me feel that I need to reconcile with God. Not as a catholic, but as a person who truly believes God is why we are what we are. Why we are here, at this point in time. Sadly, I'm starting to believe that religions segregate us and keep us away from the real relationship that we should have with God. I know in my heart of hearts that if I drop to my knees, the answer will be there. At the same time, I'm scared to learn just how far away I've drifted from the truth! We all deserve a relationship with our true creator, and HE deserves the same. I'm ready to establish, re-establish, and even exhaust my effort to do so. I hope many of you are ready to do the same! We deserve it! HE deserves it!

I believe you are already there! And while the Bible tells us to meet regularly for nourishment and being uplifted with fellow Believers, there is nowhere to say that any one brand over a church door is the ‘right’ one. In fact the Bible tells us in Revelation that most manmade churches will ‘fall away’ in the ‘last days’ and in my words, just become a social club without the Power of the Holy Spirit. If you feel God is leading you to a church and fellowship to help you learn more of what He has in store for your life, the FIRST thing is to pray to be lead to a fellowship that are Bible believing. The next would be a fellowship that teaches on the Power and Works of the Holy Spirit. We need the Holy Spirit to help us discern evil or false teachings and to be able to recognise those that would rather we follow man rather than God. I truly believe we are in what the Bible calls ‘the last days’. Ask God to open the doors to a fellowship that will teach from the Prophetic Books, Isaiah, Revelation etc. If a fellowship wilfully ignores these teachings, saying they are not for today, are too hard to understand, or are just symbolic, leave and don’t return. They are sending their fellowship to their doom. We don’t know when Christ will come for His Church, but we must be prepared. I think the best verse to begin your new journey is John 3:16. Spend time praying and asking God about this verse. It’s the most powerful verse in the Bible and we sometimes just glide over it without understanding it’s impact on our lives. For God so LOVED the world…..He loves His creation, He loves us so much that he forged a path out of the filth and evil and yes even death itself to reconcile you and me back to Him! He created the stars, the moon, the trees, water and we only need to look at our own bodies to see how amazingly wonderful they are and Our Father wants to be reconciled with us! I cannot get my head around that! Have you ever marvelled at a newborns hand? So tiny yet that tiny hand could one day operate on a delicate heart, or paint a masterpiece so detailed that you think it a photo or it can be clasped together in humble prayer and ask God to forgive us and John 3:16 becomes real. What a privilege! It’s a wonderful journey and yes it’s scary but the world is going to get much more frightening and we need to be able to put all our faith in Him to bring us thru it. He will only give you what you can bear. He created you and He wants the very best and when you give your life over to Him, He will strip away gods that have ruled or ruined your life because He is a jealous God. He wants a relationship with you with no strings attached. So for now I pray that God reveals Himself in such a way there can be no doubt of His plan for you! Your testimony is powerful and I’m convinced it will encourage others to find their way to Him thru your words. God Bless you and I shall pray for you as you immerse yourself in His Word and gain the courage to speak out in His Name.
Wow! Thank you
