To deal with the public anymore? I keep seeing and hearing commercials about all these great deals on food, merchandise, etc. but ONLY if you order thru their app and pick up yourself! Have we now become a wallet, a profit but not really a customer? I purposely don’t do business with those businesses who only give “app” deals. Don’t want to see me, you don’t need to see my $!

One of my favorite restaurants in Denver - STILL closed. (Parisi is the upstairs pizza joint, FaT is the downstairs basement nice restaurant. Emphasis added - people basically got accustomed to having shit brought to them....)
"We are currently closed for regular dining due to staffing issues, along with our take-out volume doubling on weekends at Parisi. Therefore, we are assessing the ability to run two restaurants out of our kitchen. Though thankful for thriving post-pandemic, it is a whole new experience and we want to make sure we open only when we can skillfully provide the very best experience to in-house diners and take-out customers at Parisi AND our fine dining experience in Firenze a Tavola."
Interesting, I never noticed it - and checking reviews they are still MOSTLY good but if you sort by most-recent the one-stars are ALL about service/rude treatment etc.
I'm tempted to check it out anyway, it's in my neck of the woods.
