This queen of spades is different to the English patters QoS per link below.

Right eye closed here open on standard card,

Spade markers on panels 5 here 6 on which look like some stylised ghost!

Open eye here looking at viewer, no so on standard card.

Could it be 'turning a blind eye'? I recall Dian's valet commenting he spoke to QE about things which didn't add up and she made some comment about dark forces. What else might she have turned a blind eye to?
