First, your "facts" are bogus. Second, Genesis tells us only that we have heavens overhead. "Firmament" is an idea derived from the Egyptian and Mesopotamian universe concepts, and in any case does not compel a flat Earth description. Siding with the truth, sides with God. Denying truth, denies God. The Book of Job describes the Earth in passing as hanging in space from the arctic regions, which fits exactly with the reality of the Earth rotating about it's north and south poles.

Occasionally we need threads like this one to remind us that we DO have a few ‘raisin cakes’ dwelling in our ranks. I have seen the curvature with my own eyes (literally teared up at how shockingly beautiful our planet is, and how many stars we CANT see from down here).
