You don’t just ‘wake up one morning’ and find yourself with a ‘foreign’ body inside yours. . Just like you don’t wake up one morning and find yourself fat. You make decisions that lead to that consequence.
Millions upon millions of women manage to go their whole lives without finding themselves in the position of being pregnant with an unwanted child Do better and you can too
And million and millions. ..don't. they wake up and realise they are pregnant and did not want to be...and lots of prospective father's the same...
And no..I don't think using the example of bring fat is the same thing at all
Sex does.not have to be tied to children.
Why you think I am in that position or even in the child bearing age range I have no idea. Can't you look at a problem without being personally involved?
I think it's intellectually irresponsible to separate the act of sexual intercourse from the POTENTIAL outcome of bearing children. It's not always the end result, but to act surprised when it is the end result is ridiculous.
Sex can be an enjoyable activity. Wanting to have sex without becoming pregnant is reasonable. Expecting natural processes to stop because they are inconvenient or unwanted is also ridiculous.
It's not a case of expecting...it's a case of getting to where sex and pregnancy are not linked...
But they are. They always have been, and they always will be. Pregnancy is a natural consequence of sexual intercourse. To think that it isn't, or to think that "it's a case of getting to where sex and pregnancy are not linked" is mental gymnastics.
