Yes, I can trust my eyes, my brain on the other hand, likes to fill in "unknown" parts with it's own fragmented subject matter. Optical illusions drive me nuts. I fight to make my brain see what is really there and not what it auto wants me to see. Am pretty good with the dimension spotting. "what line is longer" type stuff and most color ones as well but, at a glance.. I would not see what is "really there" as perception is on auto run, only when I stop to actually look at it that I can see reality. :P
