McCarthy WAS wrong, though. Banning any ideology just hardens the resolve of it's followers. We don't need to ban communism. We just need to point out where it's flawed, but also accept where it's true, like treating people equally. For crying our fucking loud, "all men are created equal" is straight from our most important founding document...
