About ten years ago I saw a friend from high school at church and went to give him a hug as I always did. He held his hands up to stop me and said, “don’t touch me right now! I have shingles and I’m in pain everywhere.” That was the first I had heard of shingles and he was the one who told me about the chicken pix virus still being in the body’s system.
