Americans don’t count the same. We entered at the end and didn’t suffer at home. Russia and Germany suffered massive massive losses in comparison to the US. And our dudes came home to an intact country. 80 million men died in the Soviet meat grinder. People don’t tealize the Russian Empire and USSR had way more people than the US. They had like 400 million people by WW1. There is a reason “they” genocided Russia.
