None are altruistic, they all have this bias or that slant it seems.
So I aggregate, Whatfinger or LibertyDaily say, use them to scan a lot of sources.
Places like Zerohedge or Epoch Times are gooder but still, verify verify verify. Check everything you 'really' want to know several ways, from different sources and perspectives.
In 2004 Wired gave us a story on Congress discovering the government spying on Americans and forcing the CIA/DARPA to destroy that program. Instead of doing that they gave LifeLog to Zuckerberg as 'facebook'. Amazing news that no one saw, because it came from an obscure source.
So, look at stories from different perspectives and sources, use aggregators to look for stories, events, doings, then go see.
