NYC subway line go by letter and number. It’s pretty hard to avoid the Q train in NY.

actually the q runs from manhattan thru queens not THAT relevant

The Q line also connects Manhattan to Brooklyn. Lots of people who work in lower Manhattan live in Brooklyn.

this is true i stand corrected.... there was a time i needed to take the q and probably due to construction it was a very limited service between lic and 57th street
