What is this thread all about?
Just a place for general discussion. A place to unload whats on your mind and talk about anything - personal, health, help needed, achievements, daily highs and daily lows, theories, predictions and what have you.
Does not need to be Q related.
Lots of things happening. Shills are attacking left and right, so we must be over the target. School shooting, and right on cue, attack against 2A. Take a moment to let it all go and unwind.
My thought. I would like to have a civilian oversight committee for our politicians. If most of them believed the police departments couldn't do their investigations above-board, then what about the politicians--the DOJ has become very, very political and the Congress, well they can start a never-ending investigation and no one ever goes go jail or seems to get punished. I say let the people investigate them, then we can at least rest assured we will have a day in court (hopefully). These people (the politicians and employees in the swamp) are so corrupt they don't want to convict anyone because they don't want to send any of them to jail because they could be (and probably should be) jailed next!! Let us petition for a civilian review board.
Considering they are literally supposed to be just people's representatives and nothing more, everything they do should be completely transparent to their constituents, and citizens should be able to perform oversight about everything.
im all for putting live-cameras in politicians offices. you want to meet with the representative from wherever, smile for the camera.
if your cause is just, and worthy, then it will benefit from the increased exposure, and clout of the reps office.
if your cause is not just and worthy, then you will suffer the consequences, when the constituents launch a backlash against whatever you are trying to do.
please don't bother my rep with bs.
but if you have something worthwhile to say, lets hear it.
There should be no clout of office. That office is not about clout. Its literally just a representative for the constituents. If a representatives job is not incredibly boring, monotonous and thankless, then we are doing something wrong. You need to have to beg people to run for office, thats how you know you are doing it right.
We already have a civilian oversight committee. It is comprised of the legal voters and has proven to be impotent when facing a completely corrupted government and press. What is needed is to "Drain the Swamp" and that is what the "The Great Awakening" and "The Storm" is all about. Hopefully, that is what is currently taking place. WWG1WGA, NCSWIC...
We do hope that the outcome will be GREAT! You are right, the voters are impotent!
I think we need less government in all areas, not adding more.
We the People are the government. It's already big. Letting George do it has been the problem. Letting George hire his own army of bureaucrats is another problem.
Sure, but if we get less do we also get more criminal/constitutional violations being ignored? I think the ballot box isn't the answer, or so it seems it hasn't been for far too long. The boards I am talking about would be direct action civilian boards that would serve as investigators, not government employees that answer to their "master". We just haven't had any real investigations into any illegal activity regarding any elected official in a long, long time. I haven't thought about how to pay these folks, but they shouldn't become the next group of corrupt individuals. Maybe that is why, I think it was, Jefferson said the Tree of Liberty needs to watered with blood every so often. That hasn't been done for far too long--just my opinion!
