It's one thing to report misconduct to the chain of command; it is permitted, even encouraged, in their training and printed manuals. It's quite ANOTHER thing, however, to go public and post articles, letters, Tweets, etc. OUTSIDE the chain of command in such a public way.
At the very least she has brought discredit on the military. The military is NOT a democracy, it's not a social engineering experiment, and it's not a place to air one's grievances in public. The rightful mission of the military is to act as a deterrence to foreign forces, and if necessary and directed by the Commander in Chief, to kill people and break things.
big nope. you go to Chaplin. or go outside your command to another command. contact CID / NCIS or whatever based on severity. running then posting on social media is not the answer.
How to do it: get loud. follow the rules. get louder. expose it.
How not to do it: Be vague on reasons for your actions with a tik-tok video for updoots and community support.
The command at Ft. Hood frequently covers things up. I see why she went public. Just look up the number of soldiers that have wound up dead while stationed there and the fishy stories surrounding them.
She didn't go public with anything. She just claimed someone was after her. She needs to be clear on why this is happening. Otherwise, it appears she's just mentally ill.

Yeah I agree normally but I think that route was unavailable because the command is so toxic.

What if the chain is corrupt?
