When my husband and I voted in Cobb County yesterday, I thought it a little strange that they had us put our ballots in a lock box instead of a scanner. My parents (in the same county) said they put theirs directly in a scanner. I read an article last night that talked about another county having a "problem" with their scanner for about an hour, so all ballots were put in a lock box to be "scanned" later. I'm now wondering if this was a tactic to filter votes...each precinct having some sort of scanner "malfunction" for part of the day, so they could later pick and choose which ones they wanted to count. I also find the results suspicious.
