This is literal xenophobia. We shouldn't have to explain our culture, even if there are clear and objective reasons for it to be what it is. America has a culture that deeply involves firearm ownership. I don't understand why rural Chinamen eat dogs, but if I said any of the shit these people say about guns, about that, I'd be instantly labelled a racist.

Diversity is our strength, right? So why are you trying to make the one country that does something different conform with the rest? Why is "everywhere else does it this way" even worth mentioning?
