Very good points. I'll add another: abject poverty/homelessness.... Ya know, real struggle and strife. Ive lived all over the world and I've never witnessed the throngs of homeless rise up against those above them.
In Riga we've had loose homeless sectors for decades and these people just want to be left alone or helped in 99% of cases. Not even in that 1% do you see mass violence carried out towards society.
Now look at the US which has a much higher homeless rate... Still, other than non-newsworthy misdemeanors, you don't see your local smack addicted panhandlers shooting up anything other than their choice of poison.
