Any taped off crime scene will be manned by officers at the perimeter.
They won't bother taping off the scene if the shooter is still active. They would be engaging as they are trained. No way a bunch of Texan cops stood idle.
Hey Jimmy! Yeah Bill? It sounds like the shooter is in there. Why don't you grab some crime scene tape and block off this area while the shooter keeps shooting. Copy that Bill!
This is being blown out of proportion and misinterpreted.
Edit: Interesting responses to my comment. Felt like I was back at Reddit.
I have to agree with you. So many of the sheriff deputies and police officers are ex military in this area too. I find it very hard to believe not a single one would have rushed in and taken that punk out.
What if we did allow our teachers to be trained to carry? Or school personnel other than the usual campus PO? I don’t like living in the what ifs but fuck….there are a lot of families devastated by this as I wake this morning.
Side note: I’ve been to this town and inside that ES when I was working. This is a very small rural community. It takes at least 60 minutes to get there from San Antonio. I read that sheriff’s deputies from Bexar county were sent. Trust me they couldn’t get their quick unless they were in helicopters.
Tragic on multiple levels and will continue to be so with false information being spread by news agencies. We know who the MSM players will be that get the job to report. It will be filled with BS lies to feed to their narrative and continue banging the drum on gun control. Guns are not the problem. We have a complete breakdown in our society of moral code and ethics. Our young people have been manipulated by a system with the intent to confuse them about everything they are. It’s a sick fucking place that requires us to continue fighting to remove the infiltrators from our existence.
I literally collapsed the first 2 upvoted comment trees to find your comment of rationality. Amazing how fast it got 14 upvotes. Thats how they slide around here and it’s so obvious now.
