This made me think, the simple fact that civilians aren't allowed to go into buildings to try and rescue other human beings (no matter what the emergency), must surely, psychologically impact us to believe that we are perhaps more incapable of performing heroic actions because 'the police have to take care of that'. Is this just another rule we've been spun for decades to try to separate humanity and their sense of helping the community? There would be no one more motivated to save a child than a parent who wants to.
Agree. Part of the lie “ don’t take the law into your own hand”. When “Of the people, by the people..” means it BELONGS to us!!
How can we elect a sheriff if the power to do that function is not Constitutionaly ours?
