What is this thread all about?
Just a place for general discussion. A place to unload whats on your mind and talk about anything - personal, health, help needed, achievements, daily highs and daily lows, theories, predictions and what have you.
Does not need to be Q related.
Waiting is hard. Waiting for cake to bake, or for the bus to arrive or for the plants to grow in the garden, these are all hard to different extent. Waiting for the Evil in the world to be routed out is even harder.
Some of us have been waiting for a year, after Biden was installed as the Resident. Watching the election stolen so brazenly makes you question everything.
But then some of us have been waiting for 5-6 years, when Trump first arrived on the scene and opened their eyes, or when Q started dropping. Many of these became hardcore doomers because they felt that 2 weeks stretched into 6 years with no end apparently in sight.
However, there are others who woke up after 9/11 or 2008 great financial theft, or all the perpetual wars. For them life has been unbearable and many of them lived in a parallel universe, having become red pilled long before the world was ready, and unable to participate in the illusions of this Matrix, they lost friends, families, even their kids and ended up lone hermits.
Then there are the ones who saw their president get murdered brutally in front of the entire world and no one taking to streets demanding the truth, the ones who set into motion for defeating this evil, slow as it may be, with fruits borne decades later if at all - the generals, the colonels, the spec operators, even real estate moguls, all playing their part and patiently waiting for the right time - these are the true heroes. Many of them passed away without even seeing the fruits of their labour.
But there are the most patient ones, the ones who can teach a thing or so about patience, even if we hate them to the depths of our souls. These are the truly evil so called elites, those who learnt the magic of money and used it for more than 300 years, hating us and carefully planning our destruction. Biding their time over generations. Passing on the hate. Passing on the resentments against poor nobodies daring to be happy with nothing in their lives.
Know that their patience almost paid off. They waited for three centuries and were this close to bringing down the whole humanity. They had all the power, all the weapons, all the controls, all the leaders and all the time.
Yet, they are now a hairs breadth away from being destroyed for ever.
When you feel the waiting is too hard, remember this. Good things always, always takes time.
Any experienced etsy sellers have advice on getting those first few sales? This weekend is all about Etsy for me. Updating our listings, adding more photos, putting up more of the new products we've developed ECT.
Thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours invested. Five visits all week. I'm doing it wrong me thinks. Advice appreciated.
I’ve never sold on Etsy. I’m a frequent shopper on Etsy & can give my suggestions as a customer. Like any other thing Etsy isn’t what it once was! Just like Pinterest it’s been taken over by big companies. There’s a lot accounts on Etsy I don’t trust. (Not saying that about yours!) The handmade and natural homemade beauty products are in high demand. That’s what I mainly buy on Etsy. You always run the risk of being scammed. Lots of accounts with high sales and no personal information. That’s a 🚩 for me. What I look for in an Etsy shop: Website or social media presence About section is important to me. I know people can lye. Most people are proud of what they are selling and want to share with others their story: ex: how they got started in herbs, crochet, etc. If a shop is selling herbs, oils, etc & they are also selling something totally random from that area I don’t shop. Ex: selling handmade macramé & yarn crafts in addition to selling vintage or yard sale finds.
Pinterest is a great tool. It’s not how it once was, too many ads. I still look on Pinterest to find what I’m shopping for because Etsy is just to big when searching. Etsy filter by categories needs work. I search on Etsy and use shop tab.
Someone mentioned giveaways. That’s a great tip! Many shops have an Instagram account and will do a giveaway for more traffic. Some shops do a giveaway tagging other accounts on Instagram. I’ve entered many giveaways and won a few. If you do a giveaway on Instagram use multiple hashtags! People follow hashtags. During holidays I see lots going of giveaways.
Do an email sign up to get a discount on your Etsy items. Many accounts have a note on each product description or about. I’m more likely to buy if you offer discounts or samples. Good luck 🍀
Thanks anon. Does too wide a range of products really put people off? We have all the creations from the whole family (who have varying interests and skillets heading into one place.
Deal breaker?
I remembered your post & wanted to share an example of what I mean by wide range. I’m searching for comfrey salve and just ran across this shop on Etsy. I completely understand & believe many shops are selling what’s popular. The weird evil looking soap & bath bombs turn me away from this store. https://www.etsy.com/shop/IvyMoonBodyCare
I’m going to try to answer your questions with examples. A shop selling all hand made yarn products isn’t an issue. It’s the same area, working with yarn and threads. Most people can tell if a shop online or in person is just tacky or more like a thrift shop. I shop at thrift shops, not implying that’s a bad thing. If I’m searching for herbal teas, tinctures, dried herbs to me that should be the focus of the shop. A few shops that sell natural body products also sell vintage clothes, dishes, Tupperware, ceramics etc. I’m thinking they are hoarders or just hungry for a dollar.
