Love your neighbor as yourself doesn't mean being a doormat. It means treat them with respect and dignity, but you don't just let them malign your character, or walk into your house and take anything they want, or allow them to harm you or your family. Allowing them to bully you or others isn't loving them, standing up to that b.s. and stopping it is love, it's tough love, but it's love nonetheless.
The bible also says though shalt not bear false witness against your neighbor so if they are lying about you, I would say you have a right to stand up to that.
We don't need to do anything to destroy the left they're doing that all on their own, but we can use their actions to expose them for what they are.

Agree. Treat others with respect and kindness as the default. But when they clearly demonstrate that they are refusing to give you the same courtesy, then you have every right to defend yourself.
