I'm not retired yet, just tired. Got several more years left until I can lock in a pension and even then a while to go before I could collect (if there's anything left the way my state has butchered that fund).

In Tennessee, teachers hired after 2008 don't even get pensions. We work for peanuts and have to save for our own retirement.....like private sector folks.

Well the pension I have to pay $400 a month into and I have no choice in the matter. My state's public pension is 60 billion dollars in debt, so I'm very likely paying for something I will not get.
