The auroch was in general a cow. Even a child can see that.

That's where people fail when they try to debunk Noah's ark. The Bible said there were examples of each "kind" of animal. In other words, there were two "cats" which could later expand in the multitude of varieties we have today.

A "kind" is not the same as a species.
