My favorite example is the 2020, Nashville, RV explosion on Christmas day. The one with the countdown, "Run away, I am about to explode, quick get away, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1...". The media mentioned it in passing for about 24 hours. Nothing at all strange about that; perfectly normal.

That was the most blatant of ff yet. But even memory holed by GAW - too many rabbit holes to go down.

The best part was the cop walking around the corner saying “it feels like a movie” and then they conveniently narrowly miss the explosion killing them. This was all on video.
