Maybe we can contribute here on this board to create a set of suggested policies/procedures for local Patriots to organize to watch and record drop boxes 24/7, maybe have signs that say "one visit, one ballot" , and "you are being recorded" , etc. Scare the crap out of simpleton mules.
But I am sure someone would get hurt... so, maybe a bad idea? Or, suggest teams of 4-5 with concealed carry?
I don"t know... just spit-balling.
Edit: I realize that voting drop-boxes are stupid to begin with. I'm not THAT stupid. But, here we are in 2022 and they're still being talked about and some "fear" another pandemic that will get them out of storage. And, I understand that voter intimidation could be thrown at us--no shit. So, instead of propping up the roadblocks, where's the creativity on this board to figure out how to circumvent the issues/challenges that have been raised?
Drop boxes only at local police department or court house or fire department with camera surveillance. Clear sign in multi language: if you are not a U.S. Citizen, voting is illegal. Dropping off only your ballot is permissible. Ideally, drop boxes would require you to enter your last 4 digits of your social security number and your first 4 letters of your last name. This would imprint on your ballot and be entered automatically into the computer system so you can’t vote in person anywhere else in the country. If the police can see if you have an arrest warrant nationwide, I am sure this must be possible. Or you could have the drop box at your voting station on Election Day. Maybe with extended hours, say 5:00 a.m. until end of voting time. No mail in voting due to unreliableUSPS delivery. Absentee voting only with a valid reason (to be determined) with last 4 of social security number, address and name which matches voter roll and done electronically. Anyone else voting from the same address is flagged for further inspection. Anyone with the same last 4 SS numbers is blocked in voting and would have to vote in person with a provisional ballot. Drop boxes should be thin enough to accommodate only one ballot at a time. All ballots collected for a 24 hour period from a lock box with the corresponding video. The number of ballots must equal the number of people entering information otherwise all ballots are deemed ineligible.
And all that is set up how?
Through the State legislature is how it would have to be set up. People need to get together and be sure the legislators hear loud and clear that they work for us. If they don’t want to do our bidding they need to resign. I know it sounds simplistic, but we have to start somewhere.
