I truly believe that it is between God and that person and my role is to be a support and loving force. I do not condone or support their ideas but I do offer love and compassion. I pray they find their way through their trauma and back to Jesus
I do like your attitude. One thing that concerns me is that a lot of gay people and pedophiles (imo) were nurtured into their situation without any trauma.
From my personal experience and from videos Ive watched I see trauma leading the people to either hate the opposite sex, same sex, or themselves. I do know perversion is part of some and like you said allowing it. I think that is more prevalent with the recent push but thats my take.
Agreed. Many transgenders were sexually assulted as kids. Often detach from themselves due to it. Very sad and I have tremendous compassion for these people struggling. There is a reason why after transition they still have a high suicide rate
When I do that I feel the holy spirit telling me to show compassion, pray and give it in God's hands. I think that goes farther than my simple words, God has a way of showing those people the truth and I will be there when they are ready. My personal experience

I would bet a lot, that it's much more trauma than nurture.

Sometimes the most loving thing you can do for someone is to tell them the truth of their sin so they can repent and find their way back to God.
