Love the sinner, hate the sin. Many that do not profess Christ are quick to label Christians bigots etc. Christ died for our SINS. We are to LOVE those that sin against God. What keeps them apart from God is their SIN. Nothing else! ALL of mankind sin. When we accept what Jesus did on the Cross at Calvary and DIED for our sins, and yes sleeping with the same sex as well as stealing, lusting after another’s wife, cursing Jesus Christ in anger and lying plus a billion other sins and we are ready to lay our sins at His feet and ask forgiveness, then we don’t become better than others, we just become SAVED. Saved from our sins. BORN AGAIN. Our old life passes away and we become a new person because of Jesus Christ. The thing that separates us from God, the very person who created us, Our Heavenly Father, sent His Son, Jesus Christ to die in our place. The work of reconciliation with God the Father was done by Jesus on that cross. God Himself grew that tree that His only Son was nailed to. There is no other way and it’s a very personal thing. No church membership, no priest, no taking communion, can take that walk for you. God has no grandchildren. YOU yourself have to go to the Cross and ask for forgiveness for your sins you have committed.
‘For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.’ John 3:16. KJB
The Bible writes bout homosexuality being so disgusting it moves the Throne of God.
Love the sinner and hate the sin nonsense is from some modern bullshit and it's meaningless. You're quick to reference the Bible. Well you should also reference the city God destroys entirely due to faggotry or the villages He commands Joshua to wipe out due to their degeneracy lol.
Wasn’t it Jesus Himself that said, A NEW command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:34-35
While there is a scarlet thread of redemption running thru the Bible, BEFORE Jesus came, the Jews were under the LAW. When Jesus died on the cross, the temple veil was torn from top to bottom, signifying that ALL mankind, gentiles were under GRACE - the end of the old covenant of atonement through animal sacrifice and the beginning of a 'new covenant’. The tearing of the veil at the moment of Jesus’ death dramatically symbolized that His sacrifice, the shedding of His own blood, was a sufficient atonement for our sins. It signified that now the way was open for all people, for all time, both Jew and Gentile to be reconciled with God, thru Jesus Christ.
Did not God Himself reside in the Holy of Holies? When Jesus died, the veil was torn, and God moved out of that place never again to dwell in a temple made with human hands. The ONLY sin not redeemable is blasphemy AGAINST the Holy Spirit. ALL sin, including homosexuality, murder, lying, can be forgiven if the sinner asks for forgiveness for those sins and repents. Why did the example of the thieves hanging either side of Jesus be given?? One recognised his sins, the other said what? What was Jesus reply to the thief who recognised Him? ‘Today you will be with me in Paradise’. I’m wondering if you are a Freemason?
No, I’m not. I’m sure you are familiar with the women at the well? She was deemed an adulterer and was about to be stoned for her sin. A cruel, terrible death. There were those that had stones in their hands when Jesus wandered in on the scene. What did He say to them? Who among you are guilty of sin? In fact, the original says ‘this sin’, meaning, the sin of adultery. One by one, convicted by what He said to them, dropped their stones and departed. ALL were guilty but they were prepared to stone a women, yes, guilty of adultery, but not looking at their OWN sin. Sin that separates us from God. What did Jesus say to the women? ‘Where are the others that condemn you? She replied, They have left. “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.” Jesus told her to sin no more. The act of adultery is a sin. Just like ALL sin. Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed by the sins committed by those that lived there. As was in Noah’s time. Judging others because one deems others’ sin worse than theirs is from Satan, not God. The Bible tells us ALL have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God.

The NT describes it as a shameful act, requires due punishment, perversion etc. You're twisting the narrative.
