I caught his disclaimer as well, but a proteletic enzyme is a enzyme is a enzyme. It's designed to either cut or join proteins at a certain place in its sequence. If it does it in water, 99.999% it will do it in the body. Elevated temp and ph will probably only accelerate the process.
