I don't know. Trump stated in an interview that he was more sympathetic to one of Snowden or Assange, but wouldn't confirm which. You obviously have a lot of Q posts that seem to imply Snowden was some sort of anti-white hat CIA spy, but public facts are Snowden is chilling in Russia while Assange is in solitary confinement awaiting extradition.

Sadly, no one is as worked up about freedom of speech as gun rights or abortion. It's been an issue with pretty much zero traction with the public for as long as I've been alive.
