So a coworker of mine isn't based, but he's conservative. Acording to him, I'm the office conspiracy theorist (not in a derogatory way).
Just found him in the front office quoting to the ladies: INFOGRAPHIC information and MEMES from GAW!!! He didn't reference us, he's been seeing OUR memes, including Q info, reposted on other outlets!
I couldnt help but join in. Most of the conversation was school shootings in general, then gun control, then MSM shinnanigans. One of the ladies kept saying, "yup, its part of their agenda."
Then we got onto SROs and why they're not armed in some schools (ours are and they're fantastic, but our system is also a red state, strong conservative board, but i wont mention more as its not relevant to this post).
The TL;DR is, KEEP FIRING THE MEME CANNONS!!!! THEY ARE WORKING!!!
School Resource Officer - "are police officers who work in elementary, middle and high schools. They are responsible for working with school administrators, security staff and faculty on developing comprehensive safety plans to ensure schools are safe places for students to learn."
Ah that makes sense, my school had a liaison officer so I guess they had to change that to SRO now.
Yeah, they changed it a while ago, standardized name, although the role changes depending on state, size of school, etc.
TBH, I see it as a good thing, at least in our area. But we have good leaders, good SROs, teachers are fairly good. We quashed core and such, don't have too much wokism, and the private school and home school consortium is strong, so there's that.
That's good! I don't know how it is like at my school now, most of the teachers I knew have retired already and the faculty are gone as well so I wouldn't know if it has improved or whatever if they're now using SRO's.
The new teachers/staff probably would say yes, but I'd prefer to hear from someone who have gone through the change themselves, rather than coming in to work when the change has either went into progress or after the change has completed.
