There is not a real government right now in my opinion. Because there is no faith. That's what our government has always depended on, is being willing to comply. If we do not comply, they have no power. Right now, the only power they hold, is that which we give them. As it should be. Problem is, they still have chunks of the innocent civilian population that are complying. But day by day, those chunks are becoming smaller and smaller. Hell, we don't even really have a country at this point. We have no real leaders, and no borders. And are sending our entire wealth beyond our nonexistent borders to be funneled into the pockets of the people who put us here. Pretty dumb.
Most of the people don't even understand most of the issues we face, so having a Convention would likely only harm us more. The fact that the law of the land under the republic is not followed, or that there are no Article 3 courts, that we have brought maritime law onto the land under a corporate system. None of those things would be affected by a Constitutional Convention. We would likely lose ourt 1st and 2nd Amendment rights in a convention though.
What we need is the people to start governing. That mean declaring ones political status, leaving their contract based corporate/administrative law behind and then resuming our government under the original republic that stands dormant. That is a huge undertaking and why it probably won't happen but that would do more to save this country than a convention.
All the corporate government is by contract and the people can rescind the contracts and send them away. It is all fraudulent anyways but simply declaring your status and rescinding the contracts would do much of the heavy lifting.
We need a constitutional convention, and just form a new govt at this point. The old govt can owe the fed 30 trillion dollers as well....
