What is this thread all about?
Just a place for general discussion. A place to unload whats on your mind and talk about anything - personal, health, help needed, achievements, daily highs and daily lows, theories, predictions and what have you.
Does not need to be Q related.
There was an idea on this thread for a weekend movie watching session. Lets make it a redpill movie. Share your favourite red pill movies here, and we can pick one to watch and discuss it next week. If you want to share a TV show, please include the actual episode number.
This is a more appropriate location for my rant...
At the pub for a beer after work, there's some guys I talk to on occasion. As we're talking he starts defending the travel mandates in Canada (aka you can't leave without the shot).
I mentioned that it's illegal, it violates the federal law written on the passport among a range of other things. Then he starts saying that it's not a violation of anyone's rights to deny you a seat on the plane. Even though the ticket is a contract, and yes they can have conditions, like any other contract those conditions must follow laws.
Then he switches to, "but they are a private company, they can serve who they want." "No, they have to follow laws, what happens if this bar, a private company serves 16 year Olds?" "They could do that but then the government will close the business." "Exactly, they have to follow law. The mandates are not law anywhere."
Then he starts getting into the "freeman on the land" thing, for those not aware, these are people who try to not pay taxes because they are not legal (they most often fail in their cases because they opted into something that would create that liability for them).
So annoying trying to talk to someone who's almost certainly a redditor. He was doing the same thing they always do of subtly flipping goalposts mid-point.
Oh, and worse, it ended with him saying people are up in arms because the Supreme Court of Canada decided that "overly intoxicated" is a valid defense for rape and murder cases. Obviously I said that was completely outrageous because people make the choice to drink and are responsible for their decisions. His argument was that "it doesn't mean anyone will get away with a crime, it just means they can use that defense. If I got drugged should I still be responsible for what happens?" Which I thought was the most absurd argument because then it's at least part responsibility for whoever drugged them...
I just had to walk out because I knew there was no rationalizing with someone like that.
/rant off
It's just crazy how many people still buy into these mandates, which, I don't know about the US, but in Canada was Trudeau directed provinces and health ministers to take certain actions (likely threatening the provincial Healthcare funding), the provinces directed localities on rules to install and it all makes the enforcers the ones committing the crimes, and if you don't know your shit back and forward, the cops will back it up. The proof of it all is that of all related fines, the ONLY ONES that paid were people who did not fight.
