The only reason to not know who your neighbor voted for is because some people are immature bullies.
If the votes were publicly registered and posted. We could actually verify election results and check out our own names to make sure that our vote counted for our candidate. If the votes are verifiable, the risk of reprisal from the government is obscenely low because you'll actually get the government you voted for.
I'd rather have a fistfight at the polling station than a Malthusian w.e.f.fer running the show... Fucking weffers.
I wouldn’t be in favor of publicly posting everyone’s vote, that would be weaponized and used to intimidate voters…but every voter should be given a secure voter ID number with a pin so that they can verify that their vote was properly cast for the intended candidates.
Not good enough, how do I make sure dead people aren't voting?
How do I make sure there are no duplicates?
How do I make sure people who don't exist aren't voting?
Anonymity is cowardly in politics. Cast your vote and stand your ground.
As long as the names are hidden, the numbers will absolutely be manipulated. Absolutely.
any voting receipt could be used to sell/buy votes. think ballot harvesting but after the fact.
paper ballots, chain of custody.
Your criticism is that people might buy votes....as opposed to the outright cheating that happens now.... Besides, 2000 mules proves they're already buying votes anyways...
You don't actually get to vote right now. I know you go to the station and mark your X in the circle. But it doesn't count. It's a show.

Current voter registration rolls solves a lot of problems, they should be updated annually 1-2 months prior to election.
Do you think as many people would vote for Trump if their vote was made public? Absolutely not, the left will intimidate voters and attack people who vote for what the consider to be “domestic terrorists” this is a very foolish idea.
That kind of thinking let the weffers trick you into thinking you actually get to vote
