There is a joke around here I hear, that applies.

"What do you call someone who got straight Ds in medical school? Doctor."

The amount of doctors who were simply people good at remembering and spewing information, and not much else, make up the majority of doctors people see.

All they are good at is repeating whatever new brainwashing is being pushed.

Medical school is designed to turned doctors into overworked, unquestioning worker bees, who regurgitate and push whatever the next big thing is.
