There have been numerous "london bridge" comms that suggest she would have been dead for months already. If true, they would be waiting for a correct timing to reveal her death.

I think so. Some of her last ceremonies she was missing icons of office. I believe she did not ware her crown only stood next to it as it sat on the throne. Very weird.
