What is this thread all about?
Just a place for general discussion. A place to unload whats on your mind and talk about anything - personal, health, help needed, achievements, daily highs and daily lows, theories, predictions and what have you.
Does not need to be Q related.
I bought another firearm. I thought I had enough but clearly I don't.
How many can you shoot at once?
What “first” firearm should a woman who lives alone buy? She’s agreed to be taught safety, attend any necessary classes, and go to a firing range? (She’s never owned a gun nor ever been hunting.) 🇺🇸
One's none, two's one, three's two, and four or more is a Patriot willing to defend Freedom...
Eyeballing the classic Henry Lever Action. Might need another .22 with all the Brass I’ve been collecting..
Sounds like a plan.
I'm a big Ruger 10/22 fan when it comes to rim fire. Ruger's charm was improving on preexisting designs, and perfecting the sacrificial casting process. He made some damn good wheel guns also, I just love my old army's.
What is it about the Henry that sold you?
I had a Winchester 94 in the 30-30 flavor, and it was a ok little brush gun, not very accurate to any range, so light it really was worst to wear with the shock of the 30. If I didn't locktite everything down it was coming apart. One of the few I ever sold, to a friend that just loved it. A classic American Saddle gun.
I've gotten away from the levers, my manuals are bolts or pumps, fewer moving parts and a more direct force of action, but that's just me.
Welcome aboard fren.
Childhood obsession with old John Wayne movies mostly.
