I also checked one of the gofundme's for xavier lopez and that was dated 24th May.

The same day? I suppose it's possible, but seems a bit quick to me.

Not surprising at all, these things go up day all the time. A co-worker of mine passed Saturday in a car accident and his brother had the Gofundme setup same day, not particularly difficult.
