The article you've linked to shows exactly two men wearing the Masonic square and compasses. Not most shootings, not several. There is also an image of an event with police presence, that shows a random vehicle with the symbol. We don't know whose truck, we don't know where, when, or why. We can suppose that the tv news editor wanted to display that image and attach it to shooting event, but without knowing who inserted that image, we have little to go on. Have you done any research about who videoed that truck, and who put it on tv?
If instead there was a Q WWG1WGA sticker on the truck, would it then be reasonable to assume that "qanon" believers were involved in the shooting?
