I have an autistic son who at 7 would absolutely tell me for a fact that boys cannot be girls and girls cannot be boys. I could see how being made to feel that you are different your whole life could lead to looking for a way to fit in or change yourself. However, with ASD also comes the need for structure and change is not easily accepted or managed. So just from personal experience I call BS. This whole gender bullshit is the latest fad and any parent going along with it, is a blatant idiot. I also have a 10 yr old daughter who I had to explain to about real gender dysphoria versus the new popular gender identity crisis and pronouns after a student called her a homophobe for saying there is no such thing as a They. I had to give her details about all this crap before I've even had "the sex talk" with her..There is a tiny portion of the world's population with true gender dysphoria and I empathize with them because that's a very hard life to live. But for the rest of these ppl, they just straight up need a psychiatrist and so do their parents..
