These things are technically armored scout cars. In the past they called stuff like this an "armored car." In the past the entire point of an armored car was to scout, and yet be resistant enough that an ambushing solider with a rifle couldn't kill the crew, but no more. They were not front lines armored units, more like mobile radios.

Because look at it, they are not fulfilling the role of an APC, which is to be small-arms proof transit for a squadron of infantry to and from the front.

These thing are basically a "super jeep" with a lot of amour making a big question mark for what exactly its supposed to do. Its got only 4 wheels so its kind of shit in extreme off-road, so it can't reach most field positions (there is a reason why the m113 and Bradley had treads), and it only carries like 6 men, so half the squad would have to stay behind...and its nowhere near armored enough to be a patrol armored vehicle that denies and suppressed enemy infantry/insurgents without getting its crew killed from shoulder-launched weapons. Its supposed to go fast to evade enemy fire, but how is anybody supposed "hold" a city block while driving at 60 mph, so fast the infantry on board can't even aim and shoot the enemy. And that begs the question what the fuck at they doing with an ARMORED vehicle that is supposed to now dodge enemy fire?

Then nothing to say about the death trap of a gunner turret on top. Exposed, minimal armor, and they are going to target A#1 for everybody attacking the the

NO wonder they are giving them away to police departments.

But I could get into a huge debate how they are actually tactically worthless to the military these things are and were only bought to make an anti-American MIC company (Oshkosh in this case) rich. BTW looked up Oskhosh once, they only have like 600 employees in the US, so they are building these fucking things overseas no less, and just pocketing the profits.
