They honestly do not know how to be genuine. Everything they do is fake, everything about them is fake, and they've been fake for so long that they don't even consider being real. This could've been a perfectly fine sob story without the shoes, they truly cannot help themselves. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they have some cross dressing pedophile on payroll who's only job is to go over scenes and make them as fake as possible.
