It's easy to find "conspiracy" articles now.

So all my main desktop equipment is down right now, and generally I treat my mobile as something I only use for browsing here, there and other fixed destinations. I hate using it for research because it's awkward and time wasting for me to bother using it when I have perfectly good, easily customizable desktop browsers at my disposal.
But I have been casually troubleshooting my server issues on mobile and I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of results I was getting. Which is strange to me, because I consider mobile search almost completely garbage. I did register it as a pleasant abnormality.
That said I'm not searching conspiracy stuff on mobile / stock search right now. But interesting you mention this.
Absolutely, there has been a lot less media trash though a lot still exists.
