I went to Glamis this winter and saw some kind of bizarre bright white line in the sky at night. The line was a consistent length as it (slowly) transited the sky. At one point, there was a second parallel line, but the second line was fainter and kind of appeared for a bit and disappeared again. My husband thinks it may have been a satellite. It's probably not connected to this incident, but I figured I'd mention it just in case.
Note: I asked my husband about this after I posted the comment. I've edited my comment to match what he remembers.

Starlink?
Starlink was my husband's guess. Since Glamis is along the border with Mexico, I wondered if it was some kind of aerial surveillance of the border. Whatever it was, something man-made was in the sky that night!
We watch satellites all of the time here in FL. Shortly after sunset, as the sun is still hitting the satellites, you can see them moving. We can usually see about 10-20 in an hour. But weβve never seen them as a white line. However, we have a lot of light pollution. We arenβt in a desert so maybe they do make a line in a dark sky?
I honestly have no idea. But the fact that you see 10 - 20 satellites in an hour sounds to me like satellites move pretty fast. The one line was visible for a good solid 15 minutes, the second line that paralleled it for at least 3. Like I said in another comment, since Glamis is close to the border with Mexico, I think it was some kind of border surveillance equipment.
