Didn't see anything clear or specific as to what the seemingly corrupt governor claimed was illegal. Open records requests are not illegal, moreover there is a very clear set of documents demonstrating these being filed since one of the stonewall tactics is to charge them for the requests. How can you charge to fulfill a request that is not received? And if they are received, how can responding to them be illegal?

Stupid people lying in obvious ways is the smoke that indicates the nearby fire they are trying to keep under wraps. Also sending in goons to menace the ladies at their home is a stunningly dense, seemingly desperation move. Get in contact with the local sheriff and neighbors, and be prepared to take these thugs to the ground and in handcuffs with the the video evidence and filings to hand that demonstrate the threats being made.
