It’s probably just money laundering and pay-offs. That would explain why so many “studies” are done that anyone could answer in two seconds using common sense, like that one government study about why dudes don’t want to fuck obese women, or the one where they gave insects cocaine. They’re just dicking around not doing anything and the studies have to be obvious nonsense or else they might actually need to spend some of that money on the actual study.
