Mr. Gordon Powers appeared on KABC-TV and purported to represent the 34th District of the California Republican Assembly as well as the NRA, and stated his opposition to Mulford.

Questions- Do you oppose the NRA and want it disbanded? Do you agree with the State of New York's attempts to take down the NRA?
