If Pence is a black-hat, why would Trump's Secretary of Defense (appointed AFTER the election) praise Pence as his mentor and thank him for cooperation in one of the "most complex military operations" in history?

Just a theory, but the "most complex military operation" could be referencing the 4 years of undermining Trump's presidency and/or stealing the 2020 election. That is, if Pence is a black-hat as it seems.

Trump appointed him after the election steal, and together (along with Kash Patel & others) they were very busy between Nov 3, 2020 and Jan 20, 2021.
