Venezuela's inflation rate was over 130,000% in 2019. Economists believed it would hit 1,000,000% at that time.

17% sucks BAD, but they had to use wheel-barrows to carry cash because it took so much to purchase anything. I'm actually surprised Venezuela didn't actually cease to exist at that point.
