Was Trump ever President at all? Or was the 2017 inauguration transference back to "The People"?
🗣️ DISCUSSION 💬
It's been my ponder whether Trump was ever President at all or if, in fact, the military has been in control since Trump's inauguration day in 2017. The military entered at the very moment Trump said "Today's ceremony, however, has very special meaning. Because today, we are not merely transferring power from one administration to another. Or from one party to another. But we are transferring power from Washington D.C. and giving it back to you, The People." Then, they left. Highly significant.
I've thought this as a possibility often. In a few other inaugural addresses I looked through a long while ago I never saw anything like the entry/exit of military branches on the steps behind the President during these speeches. And, yes it was that section of the speech that got me thinking as well.
When I first watched it I immediately thought, “This is it. They’re going to stop the inauguration. They won’t let an outsider take that power.” I was relieved when they went away and then kind of forgot about it. I just figured that was some part of the ceremony I never paid attention to before. We were immediately back to battling off Russian Collusion once President Trump was sworn in.
